Urban and Industrial Safety involves the interdisciplinary intersection in civil engineering, chemical engineering, engineering thermophysics and other fields, and focuses on the safety issues of leakage, fire, explosion, poisoning and other safety problems in process industries and urbanization, which are closely related to the safety of lives and properties. The symposium has been successfully held four times, the 5th International Symposium on Urban and Industrial Safety will be hosted by Nanjing Tech University and be held on 23rd - 25th November 2024 in Nanjing. The aim of this symposium is to explore and exchange cutting-edge scientific theories in safety disciplines, discuss the development concepts of science and technology of urban and industrial safety, analyze the new trends in the development of the discipline, promote the development of science and technology of urban and industrial safety, and expand the academic exchanges among the international community.
